Crusoe Mosquito Repellent Spray provides effective protection for 7 hours in tropical and temperate areas . Ideal for adults and children aged 3 and over.

Coming from French research, Crusoé's plant active ingredient is synthesized from lemon eucalyptus essential oil and organic Bourbon geranium essential oil . Its effectiveness is scientifically proven . [1]

Non-photosensitizing , Crusoé 75ml Mosquito Repellent Spray is easy to use. Its pleasant-smelling formula does not dry out the skin, without a sticky or greasy effect .

Directions for use

For children 3 to 6 years old: spray the product only on the arms and legs 1 to 2 times per day; do not exceed 7 sprays per day.

For adults and children aged 7 and over: spray the product on exposed areas of the body (6 sprays maximum) and reapply every 7 hours; do not exceed 3 applications per day. For the face, spray the product into your hands (1 spray) then apply to your cheeks and forehead. Reapply after swimming.

As a precaution, do not use in children under 3 years old or pregnant women as the product contains essential oils.

Lemon Eucalyptus Oil, hydrated and cyclized: Obtained from Lemon Eucalyptus essential oil, its preparation is based on a biomimetic process which generates a natural molecule with strong repellent properties, PMD.

Organic Bourbon Geranium Essential Oil: Known for its ability to repel insects, it enhances PMD activity by interacting effectively with several olfactory receptors of mosquitoes.

Organic Ethanol: We have selected this certified organic plant excipient to dilute the organic repellent plant active ingredient and guarantee a formula that is stable over time.

Organic Propanediol: We have selected this plant emollient which acts as a moisturizing and revitalizing agent. It allows for long-term preservation while improving the sensoriality of the spray.

We compared our active ingredient to PMD, the most effective natural active ingredient to date, and DEET, the reference synthetic active ingredient since the 1950s but with documented potential neurotoxic effects - by carrying out the engorgement rate test at the Vectopôle in Montpellier, a reference center for anti-vector research. This test highlights the number of mosquitoes that have bitten a skin on which the active ingredient in an ethanol solution has been applied.

In the case of PMD, 24% of mosquitoes bit, representing an effectiveness of 76%. In the case of DEET, 18% of mosquitoes bit, representing an effectiveness of 82%.

In the case of our asset, only 3% of mosquitoes bit the skin,
which represents an efficiency of 97%
